The nomadiQ BBQ can be connected to a standard portable gas supply. A common propane fuel tank is Coleman’s or Bernzomatic 1lb. cylinder, which will last approx. 3 hours! This type of canister is lightweight, cheap and available at these hardware or outdoor stores.

Mark it cannot connect directly to a bayonet as the BBQ was designed around the 453g Camping gas. There could be adaptors, however I am not sure.

Derek yes it can run on LPG, you would just need a POL to BOM adaptor.

Hi Shaelagh, I know there are adaptors for the larger bottles. This product was designed around the 453G camping gas. A bayonet fitting I am not sure what is available.

Hi Shaelagh, the BBQ is not designed to connect to the bayonet fitting however there are fittings for larger bottles available.

I like the idea of it. It’s quirky but you are taking on the giant Weber Q1000 series for about the same price. I imagine like Weber made in China but that’s the world today. Good luck with those that desire something a little quirky.

Hi ,i am looking to buy one of these units But the on seller i spoke to explained that it was not possible to connect to a regulated caravan bayonet fitting yet, can you tell me when a hose conversion will be available to purchase with the unit like they appear to have the option in the USA, all be it a slightly different end . I’m in Vic .

It is unlikely we will be doing a conversion hose as the laws in Australia are different to the US. There is a fitting that you can connect to the larger gas bottles, however I do not a fitting that will connect tom the bayonet.

Matt the 453 Gram is the propane camping gas bottles. You can get adaptors for the 9kg bottles. It is a POL to BOM fitting. The bayonet fitting is different.

Ok I’ve never needed to know about gas fittings or gas bottles but here I am & im sure it’s been answered above
I have a regular bbq that takes the swap & go bottle from the fuel station but I’m looking at this size … can I use my bbq bottle on this & if not is there a part that I can purchase that allows me to or is it just one of those drink bottle size gases? Happy if you want to email me a reply with photos

Niki there is an adaptor to go to larger bottles it is called a BOM to POL. Available at most camping stores. Any issues let me know as you can purchase from our website.

Is it possible to remove the regulator from the T Piece hose so I can connect the T piece via the appropriate adapter to my caravan bayonet outlet using the regulator on the caravan bottle

Is it safe to use POM to BOL hose directly to a large gas tank without a regulator? Most POM to BOL hoses are just that, they don’t have a regulator.

Chris Not sure what you mean by rim vent, however if you are referring to the aluminum butane cannisters, no it will not.
